i would highly recommend the hotel.very nice staff.very very nice rooms. all in all? PERFECT evening for me and my dad to kick back.only downside in the casino is no free drinks.but that was minor. feet of casino floor including 8,500 electronic games, 100 table games including craps and roulette, a 55 table poker room, a 3,500-seat Global Events Center, two 18-hole championship golf courses, a state of the art golf academy, and nearly 1,400 hotel rooms.
we played $100 of their money and won $72 off of it.my dad was getting tired so we quit and went to the buffet.food was hot, selection was great and the taste was good (we concentrated on the prime rib, it was cooked perfectly).and it was free (a $21.99 each value). Specialties: WinStar World Casino and Resort has more games than any casino in the world Offering 370,000 sq. the hotel is very very nice.i just got back from the Venetian in Vegas.not the venetian, but not far from it.the rooms were large, beds were awesome and the linens, etc was awesome.my judge of a room is how well the 'hot shower' works and then 'how was my sleep'.bathroom was huge, walk in shower was very nice.water was steaming hot.bed was perfect.room was quiet.
Regular rate was $169 plus tax.the 'special' was $129 (including tax), 2 free buffet vouchers and $100 free 'game play'. Was coming back thru OK with my dad and we wanted to get a hotel.i suggested a casino (there are several) and he mentioned the Winstar.i remember seeing a TV commmercial about 'San Antonio Resident Special'.so i asked them when i called.
